I chose to watch this drama because of those comments that said Taek and Duk Sun ended up together. I seriously thought they are meant for each other. I mean look at themmmmmmm. To those that keep saying the ending sucks..well I 50/50 about this. I liked the ending as of how they ended up together, but I agree that they should tell us more about how other characters live and I wish there was a wedding scene for Taek and Duk Sun :(. Wellll Imma miss this couple a lot. Hope to see them act together more in the future. I am team Jung Hwan since the beginning of this reply 1988 series. Who will not fall in love with someone who actually loves you behind your back, doing everything for you without you know about it. I am still hurt knowing Jung Hwan not the husband BUT i think, in reality, the ending is the most practical. In this case, DokSun is senseless and she was hurt from her unrequited love towards Sun Woo. So, eventhough, she loves Jung Hwan too, she is being careful not to hurt again by waiting Jung Hwan to tell her that he loves her. However, Taek has more courage to act bravely and confess to everyone that he likes Doek Sun. If I were Doek Sun, I will choose Taek even though I might love Jung Hwan more. Because you feel secure choosing someone knowing that he loves you more than you love him. The storyline for the ending might be sucks (based on people's comments),but I dont blame Doek sun for end up with Taek. For me, Reply 1988 still the best among the 2 previous series. I am waiting for the next Reply installment.
