Taek percentage of being the husband became higher as the drama went on. I remember I was just mind-blown by it. The way the story was written in the beginning made it seem for sure that she'd end up with JH. I honestly feel like the writer made a huge mistake with the ending, there was no consistency towards the end and nothing was wrapped up neatly. I've seen all the reply series and I can say with full confidence that this had the worst ending of the three. It was messy and somewhat unplanned. If DS and Taek were supposed to end up together the writer shoud've shown them the way they showed DS and JH. From the very first episode there are so many hints that it's going to be JH and suddenly Taek is pushed into the love triangle. This didn't have the plot twist I hoped and thought it would. Really good story, funny and warm but unsatisfactory towards the end. If any of feel I am wrong on this then just re-watch some scenes between JH and DS and then Taek and DS, you'll know what I mean when I say that Taek and DS were portrayed very platonically and had no romantic chemistry at all. JH and DS did, they had romantic chemistry till the very end. It's sad to say that I loved the story but the ending has left me feeling somewhat hollow. I wish they'd make an alternate ending where she ends up with JH and all the plots are tied up properly. All in all it was great up until episodes 18, 19 and 20, very messy and rushed ending.
